TGS at Capacity Middle East
TGS Dubai participated at the largest event ever hosted for our industry in the region – Capacity Middle East. This event has grown tremendously during the years and set a new record with more than 700 registered delegates this year. According to Capacity Media who is the organizer, this event is now among the 3 largest events in the world with ITW on the top. Carriers and operators not only from Middle East, but from Europe, Asia and US were participating.
TGS had a stand to profile and marketing our services, we were also a sponsor for the event – first time you could see our new logo on a lot of banners and posters! This time was kind of special for us, as it was the first time we had a representative from our new colleagues in Pakistan with us at the stand and in most of the meetings – so we already started acting as one single unit. We had more than 50 formal meetings during the 3 days and a lot of informal meetings. We received very good positive feedback from partners when they saw and heard that Telenor Group companies could work together. For some part of the event we even had a representative from Telenor Satellite Broadcast joining us at the stand – so we really combined forces in Telenor this time.
